Jaka on the Ropes Again

Faraz Jaka, with the level about to go up, is down to is last 24 big blinds.

Jonathan Aguiar raised to 9,000 and bet 9,500 on a {4-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop. Jaka called both times before the {10-Hearts} was checked through. The {j-Diamonds} fell on the river and and Aguiar bet 21,000 when the action was checked to him.

Jaka thought about it before he folded.

Small Pots For Cantu and Hairabedian

While the match between Jonathan Aguiar and Faraz Jaka saw much action early, Brandon Cantu and Roger Hairabedian have seen pots of a much smaller size.

Most recently we found Cantu raise to 10,000 from the button. Hairabedian called and the flop fell {K-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Spades}. Both players checked their option and the {9-Spades} turned. Hairabedian flung out 5,000 but Cantu made it 16,000 to go. Roger showed the {9-Clubs} and mucked his hand.

"Big Roger"

Roger Hairabedian might be behind in his match but at least he's having fun.

He called a Brandon Cantu Raise to see a {k-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop where he led for 15,000. Cantu refused to give up the initiative and raised to 40,000.

Hairabedian had other plans though and raised to 140,000 whilst saying, ""Big Roger!"

Cantu didn't react except to fold.

Faraz Jaka Eliminated in 4th Place (€86,087)

Faraz Jaka (Day 3) - 4th Place

Jonathan Aguiar had the button. He opened with a raise to 11,000, which seemed to be the standard at this level in the match.

Faraz Jaka looked at his cards and three-bet to 27,000. Aguiar went into the tank for roughly one minute before moving out a four-bet to 60,000. Jaka announced all in and Aguiar snapped.

Aguiar: {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}
Jaka: {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

The board fell {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades}{J-Spades} and Aguiar's kings were able to hold, sending Jaka to the rail with a €86,087 payday.

This makes Aguiar the first player to advance to the finals. Aguiar will take a stack of 1,110,500 to play either Brandon Cantu or Roger Hairabedian.
