Luca Doubles Again

Level 12 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Adrian Mateos scooped a pot against Max Altergott and then raised to 129,000 from the small blind to give Felipe Ramos the choice of calling all in or folding. Ramos opted for the latter.

Soon after it was Max Altergott who raised to 18,000 first to act and Ivan Luca pushed for 80,000 from the cutoff. Altergott called and the cards were turned over.

Ivan Luca: {A-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}
Max Altergott: {Q-Spades}{J-Hearts}

The flop of {10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{4-Hearts} was a sweat with the open-ended straight draw for Altergott, but Luca secured the double thanks to the {9-Diamonds} turn and {2-Hearts} river.
