Psychic Simunic Calls the Runner-Runner

Vladimir Geshkenbein moved all in for 144,000 in middle position and Markus Durnegger looked him up.

Vladimir Geshkenbein: {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}
Markus Durnegger: {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}

The {A-Diamonds} landed in the window, followed by the {10-Clubs} and {2-Clubs} to give Geshkenbein a commanding lead in the hand. At that point, Josip Simunic walked over from a different table to sweat his friend Durnegger.

Simunic briefly looked at the board and at both hands.

"King," he said, and the dealer flipped the {K-Hearts}.

"Jack" he followed up, and sure enough the {J-Spades} landed on the river to chop the pot between both players. While others looked at him with large eyes, Simunic treated it as just another day at the card calling office and casually strolled back to his table. Meanwhile, Durnegger briefly thought he'd won with the rivered straight before the dealer pointed out the chop.
