Eibinger Folds to a Check-Raise

Level 23 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Matthias Eibinger opened to 825,000 in the cutoff and Winfred Yu called from the big blind. The flop fell {q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and Yu checked to Eibinger who continued for 750,000. Yu pushed forward a check-raise to 2,200,000 and Eibinger instantly mucked his cards.

There are no real short stacks on the outer table and the action has been dictating that for much of that past level.

Another One for Nitsche on the Outer Table

Level 23 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Manig Loeser raised to 950,000 on the button and Matthias Eibinger defended his big blind. The flop came {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and both players checked, as they did on the {9-Hearts} turn. Eibinger checked the {K-Clubs} river and Loeser's bet of 850,000 won the pot uncontested.

Eibinger pushed from the small blind into the big blind of Benjamin Pollak and the Frenchman shook his head before sending his cards into the muck.

Loeser made it 850,000 to go and Timothy Adams called in the cutoff, Dominik Nitsche came along out of the big blind. The {10-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Spades} flop was checked to Adams and he bet 900,000, only Nitsche called. There was no betting action on the {7-Spades} turn and Nitsche bet the {6-Diamonds} river for 4,000,000, Adams surrendered.

Rainer Kempe Eliminated in 13th Place (€49,951)

Level 23 : 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Rainer Kempe
Rainer Kempe

Christian Rudolph raised to 850,000 from the hijack and Jean-Noel Thorel called in the small blind with {4-Hearts}{4-Spades}. Rainer Kempe shoved in the big blind for 4,225,000. Rudolph looked at his cards again and decided to call while Thorel quickly folded.

Rainer Kempe: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Christian Rudolph: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

The flop came {9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} to not help Kempe much.

The turn was the {4-Diamonds} so Kempe only had the aces left as an out but the {9-Hearts} on the river wasn't that as he was sent to the payout desk in 13th place before he could pick up a pay jump.

James Romero raised from under the gun and was called by Christian Rudolph in the big blind.

The flop came {5-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, Rudolph checked, Romero bet 575,000 and Rudolph called.

The turn was the {5-Hearts}, Rudolph shoved for 2,650,000 and Romero snap-called.

James Romero: {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Christian Rudolph: {q-Spades}{j-Spades}

Romero was ahead with two pair but the river completed the board with the {8-Diamonds} to give Rudolph the straight to double up.

Nitsche Jams Up His Stack

Level 22 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

After scooping a post on the flop, Dominik Nitsche remained aggressive and raised it up to 650,000 on the outer table. He was called two ways, by Manig Loeser on the button and Matthias Eibinger in the big blind. The trio checked through the {Q-Spades}{10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} flop and Eibinger took the betting lead on the {4-Diamonds} turn, making it 1,800,000 to go.

Nitsche called after some consideration and that forced out Loeser. On the {3-Hearts} river, Eibinger slowed down and checked. Nitsche moved all in and a snap-fold of Eibinger followed.

The very next hand, Timothy Adams raised to 650,000 on the button and Benjamin Pollak in the big blind called.

"I am your man," the Frenchman grinned. The flop brought {A-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and Pollak checked, Adams bet 1,000,000 and that shut down all further action.

Loeser and Yu Battle in the Blinds

Level 22 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

The action folded around to Winfred Yu in the small blind who made it 900,000 to go. Manig Loeser defended from the big blind and the flop came {k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{2-Hearts}. Yu continued for 800,000 and Loeser stuck around to see the {a-Hearts} on the turn.

Yu opted to check this time and Loeser slid in a bet of 2,000,000. Yu still called and the {6-Spades} completed the board. One more check from Yu led to Loeser putting together a bet of 4,800,000. Yu went into the tank for a couple of minutes before finally letting go of his hand.

Romero Doubles Through Kempe

Level 22 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Rainer Kempe raised to 625,000 from under the gun with {a-Spades}{7-Spades}, James Romero found {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} on the button and decided to three-bet to 1,500,000. Action folded back to Kempe who called.

The flop came {7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs} for Kempe to flop two pair but he was still behind against Romero who had the higher two pair. Kempe checked and Romero continued with a bet of 925,000. Kempe decided to shove with the bigger stack and Romero called for the 3,975,000 he had behind.

The cards went on their backs, the turn was the {2-Hearts} which didn't change the situation and the {9-Hearts} on the river didn't either and Romero doubled up.
