Klar, Pagliazzo Find Doubles

Level 8 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Francis Klar and Christophe Sanchez built a pot of around 50,000 as they went heads-up to the river on a board of 33A94. Klar then moved all in for 35,000 in early position.

"I think your kicker is better than mine," Sanchez said as he tanked from the big blind. He eventually called and turned over A7, but his instincts proved correct as Klar showed AK to earn the pot and double up.

At the same time at another table, Axel Junker bet 4,000 from the button on a flop of 722 before Francesco Pagliazzo moved all in for 31,000 in early position. Junker called to put him at risk.

Francesco Pagliazzo: AA
Axel Junker: 97

The 9 fell on the turn to give Junker two pair, but it wasn't enough to overcome Pagliazzo's aces as the 10 completed the board and Pagliazzo doubled up with a better two pair.
