Brazdžionis Left on Fumes After Clash With Lehmann

Level 31 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Daniel Lehmann
Daniel Lehmann

In the previous hand, Daniel Lehmann bet twice versus Martynas Brazdžionis and then made it 500,000 to go on the 87244 river. Brazdžionis pushed all-in and Lehmann asked for a count. The shove was for 3,700,000 and the Norwegian folded.

Brazdžionis then opened to 600,000 and Lehmann three-bet to 1,500,000. The shove by the Lithuanian followed and Lehmann called.

Daniel Lehmann: KK
Martynas Brazdžionis: 1010

Lehmann left his chair and walked away from the table, as he didn't want to see the outcome in real time.

The board came Q43K4 and Elia Salerno told him "you win" before Lehmann then walked back to his seat.

Both stacks were counted and Lehmann doubled for 8,700,000, leaving Brazdžionis on a mere 225,000 and with the big blind coming soon.

Alberto Cigliano raised to 4,000,000 in the cutoff and left himself just 550,000 behind. Matt Davenport in the small blind then pushed all-in with the far superior stack and Cigliano glanced around to the other tables before calling it off.

Alberto Cigliano: A9
Matt Davenport: QQ

The suited ace picked up no help on the 642JJ runout and Cigliano was eliminated in 17th place, which will now trigger the redraw of the final two tables.

Zlatin Penev was just eliminated from the tournament.

According to his former tablemates, he had gotten the last of his chips in preflop with ace-five offsuit only to run into [Removed:446]'s ace-king offsuit. Penev had turned a straight draw but failed to improve further and was sent to the rail in 18th place while Saran collected the last of his chips.

Omar Eljach moved all in from the cutoff for just under 4,000,000 and Michele Tocci, who was covered slightly, made the call from the small blind and was at risk.

Michele Tocci: JJ
Omar Eljach: Q10

The board ran out 10632K. Eljach had made a backdoor flush to pull ahead of Tocci's pocket-jacks and collect nearly a full double up while Tocci's deep run came to an end.

Poddubnii Takes From Neziri and Eljach

Level 31 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Artiom Poddubnii in the cutoff, Sabri Neziri in the small blind, and Omar Eljach in the big blind were already on the turn on QAK7 when Neziri bet 525,000. He was called by his two opponents and found the 8 on the river.

This time, Neziri checked, and so did Eljach. But Poddubnii decided to bet 1,875,000. After a few seconds, Neziri seemed like he had no choice but to fold. Eljach folded too.

Lehmann Shows Another Bluff

Level 31 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Daniel Lehmann raised to 700,000 from under the gun, picking up a call only by Francis Klar in the small blind.

The Q103 flop was checked by Klar, who then called Lehmann's bet of 1,000,000.

Klar also checked the A turn and Lehmann fired a second barrel for 2,000,000. His opponent folded and Lehmann flashed the 54 for yet another bluff, albeit with a gutshot wheel draw.

Kraft Binks a River Double Through Penev

Level 31 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Florian Marco Kraft

The action folded all the way to Florian Kraft in the small blind, who opted to shove for 3,875,000. Zlatin Penev in the big blind had that covered, albeit by just three big blinds, and went deep into the tank.

More than two minutes passed before Penev eventually splashed in a handful of chips for the call.

Florian Kraft: 109
Zlatin Penev: A4

Kraft picked up a gutshot on the J77 flop and had some chop outs with the J turn. Instead, he got there with the 10 river to leave Penev on the ropes.

Salerno bet the 7 river for 375,000 to receive a quick call by Lehmann, who then mucked when he was shown the K9 by Salerno.
