, and he was betting 8,800 from the button. Chris Moorman tanked up briefly before making the call.
They saw a 
river and Moorman checked. This time the bet from Channing was 23,500 - and although it wasn't "it" as Channing had put it, Moorman folded and Channing's lead is now approximately 160,000 to Moorman's 80,000.

Collopy Finishes Fischman
After a struggle back for a while, Scott Fischman had finally fallen low enough that an all-in match-up like his vs. Jim Collopy's 
was going to see the chips go in. Preflop Collopy set him in by merely moving his tower of blue 5k chips in the middle and Fischman nodded his assent. Collopy stood up and did a sort of stretch-yawn combo as if the board pairing him as it emerged 
was about as interesting as waiting for weedkiller to finally get rid of the dandelions in your driveway.
Both players took the race unblinkingly, with Fischman offering, "Good game," quietly.
Adams Not Part of the Money Family
Justin Adams has been eliminated by Marius Torbergsen and therefore will be receiving no money for his efforts over the two days. Torbergsen is through to face Ram Vaswani at 7pm.
One Last Chance
A near-lethal hit for Chance Kornuth as Daniel Negreanu check called 6k on a 
flop, then after a double check on the turn bet 10,500 on the 
river. Kornuth made the call but Negreanu's 
was plenty good.
Back to the brink chipwise, and Chance Kornuth again had to survive a cards-on-their-backs preflop moment to stay in the game. He moved in pre with 
and had to suffer a little sweat as Negreanu talked about his requirements for calling while checking his hand one card at a time... "Oh... one is a ten... the other is... a ... call!"
Negreanu's 
wasn't to hold, however, as Kornuth hit a seven on the flop and a King on the turn to double over 40k and get a little bit of breathing room.
Not a Chance
Still short, Chance Kornuth got his last in with 
. Daniel Negreanu found - tens again! - and this time they would hold up, despite Kornuth's optimistic, "Hopefully he'll deal from the bottom of the deck for me..."

Kornuth is thus out of the running for a second bracelet. Negreanu meanwhile is in the money, and in with a shot at a fifth bracelet.
Moorman Hanging In
Chris Moorman's day has actually deteriorated since he found himself still in a taxi in Trafalgar Square come kickoff, and he was down to less than 40,000 when Neil Channing raised a big stack of T5,000 chips from the button. Moorman made a face, but eventually called all in.

Moorman got it in again a few hands later, this time dominated with

. However, the poker gods smiled on him as one spade came on the flop, then a second on the turn and a third on the river made him a flush to double up to 75,000.
Break It Up, Gents
The one-on-one battling ceases for 10 minutes only as the players get a quick break.
The Professor Doubles
Howard Lederer has doubled up to 167k in a hand that lasted five minutes into break. The flop read 
and Lederer led for 12,000 to face a raise to 30,000 from Shawn Buchanan. His response was to move all-in for his remaining 72,000. Call.
