Dyer Shoves the Turn

Level 33 : 150,000/300,000, 150,000 ante

Michael Dyer raised to 700,000, Michael Rocco three-bet to 1,750,000 and Dyer made the call. After both players checked to the turn on a board of {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{2-Clubs} Rocco bet 1,000,000. Dyer re-counted his stack, paused for a moment and then moved all in. Rocco wasted no time in folding his hand.

Family Pot

Level 33 : 150,000/300,000, 150,000 ante

There haven't been many family pots among the final three, though one small pot just took place between the trio.

It happened when Michael Rocco limped the button and Ben Farrell did the same from the small blind. Michael Dyer checked his option from the big and the flop came down {8-Spades}{5-Hearts}{10-Hearts}.

Two checks saw Rocco bet 450,000 and that did the trick as both Farrell and Dwyer ditched their hands.

Dyer Doubles and Doesn't Know It

Level 32 : 125,000/250,000, 125,000 ante

Michael Dyer moved all in and was called by Michael Rocco. The two players tabled their hands and Dyer saw that he was behind and needed help.

Michael Dyer: {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Michael Rocco: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}

The board ran out {2-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} and Dyer got up to leave because he thought Rocco's ace-high was good. It has been a long day of play and he missed the fact that he had rivered a four card flush to stay alive.

Louis Salter Eliminated in 4th Place ($168,312)

Level 32 : 125,000/250,000, 125,000 ante
Louis Salter
Louis Salter

With action on Louis Salter in the small blind he shoved all in and was snap-called by Ben Farrell from his big blind. The players tabled their hands and Salter saw that he was on the wrong end of a blind versus blind cooler.

Louis Salter: {a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Ben Farrell: {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}

The runout of {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{4-Clubs} was of no help to Salter and he was eliminated in fourth place.

Rocco Takes Down A Big One

Level 32 : 125,000/250,000, 125,000 ante

In a headsup pot on a board of {9-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} and about 1,300,000 in the middle Michael Rocco bet 1,000,000 and was called by Louis Salter. The dealer fanned the {q-Clubs} on the river and Rocco used two hands to moved forward two stacks of T100,000 chips that totaled 3,400,000.

Salter went into the tank for a few moments, counted out the amount, thought about it some more and then made the call. Rocco tabled {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} for a rivered set of queens and Salter flashed the {j-Clubs} as he mucked his cards, which sent the huge pot to Rocco.
