Welcome to Day 1 of the $3,500 Wynn Millions Main Event at the beautiful Wynn Las Vegas. This is the first of three Day 1 starting flights with nine days of play on the schedule until a winner is crowned on March 11th. The Wynn Millions series started on February 20th and will see 24 events being played until the final day on March 19th.
The 2022 Wynn Millions Main Event attracted a massive field of 1,075 runners in the $10,000 buy-in to create a whopping $10,105,000 prize pool. New York's Tony Sinishtaj came out on top after six long days of action to take down the title and $1,093,314 first place prize.
The action kicks off at 12 p.m. local time and players will start with 40,000 in chips. The blinds will start at 100/200 with a 200 big blind ante and there will be ten 60-minute levels played today. Breaks will be 15-minutes in length every two levels and a 60-minute dinner break is scheduled at the end of Level 6. Late registration and re-entries will be open until the start of Level 9 and those who find a bag at the end of the day will come back for Day 2ab on March 6th.

Picking up the action on the turn with a little over 5,000 in the middle, the board read and Michael Dyer led out with a bet of 4,100 in the small blind. Matt Affleck got out of the way but Eric Baldwin called from the cutoff.
The river brought the and Dyer fired out another bet of 11,800. Baldwin thought for over a minute before pushing his entire stack into the middle. Dyer dipped into the tank for a couple of minutes but opted to lay his hand down.

Darren Elias opened to 600 in the cutoff and was called by Larry Ormson on the button and Scott Eskenazi in the big blind. The flop fell and the action checked to Ormson who tossed in a bet of 600. Eskenazi called and Elias stepped aside.
The turn brought the and both players checked to the on the river. Two more quick checks and Eskenazi turned over for a pair of tens and Ormson mucked his cards.

In a heads-up pot with 8,700 in the middle on a flop showing , Spencer Simpson checked from the small blind to James Romero in the big blind who bet out 6,500. Simpson quickly called and the dealer rolled the turn.
Simpson checked a second time and Romero took some time before announcing a bet of 12,000, which Simpson again made the call. On the river Simpson elected to move all in, covering the 15,500 remaining for Romero, who quickly called.
Simpson tabled for top pair while Romero scored the full double up with for a flopped set.

The action folded to David Coleman on the button who opened for 500 and only Mike Dentale called in the big blind.
The flop fanned out and both players checked their options to the turn. Dentale took the lead with a bet of 1,000, and without much thought, Coleman tossed in a chip for the call.
The completed the board and Dentale kept up the aggression with a bet of 4,000. Coleman snap-called and the hands were shown. Dentale rolled over for top pair but was no good against the straight for Coleman who scooped the pot.
