Stuewe Runs Into a Cooler

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

The action was relayed to PokerNews after the fact in a pot where Nick Palma opened to 22,000 from the button and Connor Stuewe made the call in the small blind. Amir Emami elected on a shove in the big blind, covering both opponents. Palma got out of the way and Stuewe snap-called to put himself at risk.

Connor Stuewe: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Amir Emami: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

It was the ultimate cooler spot for Emami who held the second best hand, but when the board ran out {k-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}, he managed to turn the tables on the cooler and eliminate Stuewe in brutal fashion.

Meanwhile on the very next hand Lenard Adams got the rest of his 175,000 in the middle and was sent to the rail when his opponent made a straight.
