Top Pair Holds for Esposito

Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Andrew Esposito raised to 160,000 in the cutoff and Pedro Ingles called from the big blind. The flop came {j-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Ingles check-called a bet of 175,000 from Esposito.

The turn brought the {6-Hearts} and Ingles checked again. Esposito threw in a bet of 275,000 and Ingles still called. The {3-Diamonds} hit the river which slowed the action as both players checked. Esposito showed {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for top pair and was awarded the pot.

Joseph Sabe Eliminated In 17th Place ($37,321)

Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Joseph Sabe
Joseph Sabe

The action folded to Cliff Ziff in the hijack who opened to 225,000 and Joseph Sabe moved all in for just over 1,800,000 next to act. The rest of the table got out of the way and Ziff called to put Sabe at risk.

Joseph Sabe: {a-Spades}{9-Hearts}
Cliff Ziff: {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

Sabe was in need of help against the better ace for Ziff, and when the board ran out {q-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{4-Clubs}{5-Spades}, it was the ace-jack that scored the pot and sent Sabe to the payout desk in 17th place.

Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Michael Rossitto opened to 165,000 from the cutoff and Cliff Ziff made the call in the small blind. Joseph Sabe raised to 465,000 in the big blind and Rossitto moved all in for 1,300,000. Ziff quickly got out of the way and Sabe snap-called with a bigger stack.

Michael Rossitto: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Joseph Sabe: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}

Sabe was in great shape to send Rossitto to the rail, but when the board ran out {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{4-Spades}, it was the turned ace that saved the day for Rossitto to double up off of Sabe.

Powers Shoves on Sued

Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Kharlin Sued opened to 160,000 in middle position and picked up calls from Andrew Esposito on the button and Jacob Powers in the small blind.

Powers once again threw in a bet of 100,000 before the flop of {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}{4-Spades} was revealed. Sued raised to 350,000 which got Esposito out of the hand but Powers instantly moved all in for 2,305,000.

Sued asked for a count and deliberated for a couple of minutes before Mark Zajdner called the clock. Sued dispatched his cards and Powers flashed his {a-Spades}{j-Spades}.

"It was either that or an eight," Sued said as he sat back down in his seat.

Esposito then went on to dissect the hand and what Powers could have had while Sued and Zajdner argued about the clock being called.
