Beltz Doubles With Quads

Wouter Beltz raised to 10,000 from under the gun and the action folded to Tomas Galkus in the big blind, who defended. Beltz then continued for 7,500 on the 9♠9♣4♠ flop, which Galkus check-raised to 25,500.

Beltz made the call and the 4♥ turn rolled off. Galkus made another bet, this time of 30,000 chips, and Beltz called once more. On the 10♥ river, Galkus jammed all in, covering the 75,000 chips Beltz had remaining.

Beltz snap called and revealed 4♦4♣ for four fours. Galkus did not have pocket nines for the only hand that could beat Beltz and showed down A♠J♦ instead for a bluff. The big pot was shipped Beltz's way as he doubled up shortly before the bubble phase.

Henri Ojala Eliminated During Hand-For-Hand Play; Splits Prize Money With Cunningham and Kirwan

On the stone bubble, Henri Ojala got his final 130,000 chips from the hijack against Stephen Groom in the cutoff.

The flop of 7♣9♦6♦ gave Ojala a straight draw, but the 6♥ turn brought him no help. Groom made the better full house with the 6♠ on the river and Ojala was eliminated on the bubble of the Irish Open Main Event after making the final table last year.

Luckily for him, Sean Cunningham and Gary Kirwan busted simultaneously on different tables, resulting in the three players sharing two min-cashes, resulting in €1,173 awarded to each player.
