Tran Takes Multiway Pot

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Donald Somers limped in from under the gun and Nghiem Tran limped behind from early position. Vadim Rozin raised to 1,500 from middle position and received calls from Jamie Baker in the small blind, Mitchell Jacko in the big blind and both limpers.

The flop came K♥Q♥5♦ and action checked around to Rozin who fired a 3,000 continuation bet. Baker and Tran called while Jacko and Somers got out of the way.

All three remaining players checked the 2♠ turn leading to the 7♦ river. Action checked around to Tran who bet 5,000 and both Rozin and Baker opted to fold.

The flop came 7♥6♣4♥ and Meng check-called an 800 continuation bet from Bennett.

Meng check-called another bet from Bennett on the 10♠ turn, this time for 1,500.

Both players checked the 8♥ river. Meng tabled 10♥8♠ for two pair which was good enough to take down a decent early pot.

Kaia Moore opened from under the gun and received calls from Dominic Staniscia in middle position and Martin Dufour in the big blind.

The flop came 10♠6♥5♦. Dufour checked, Moore fired an 800 continuation bet, Staniscia raised to 2,000, Dufour folded and Moore called.

Staniscia continued with a bet of 2,800 when checked to on the 4♠ turn and this time it was enough to force a fold from Moore.

The flop came K♣J♣4♦. Ho checked, Asatoorian fired a 1,300 continuation bet, Leblanc called and Ho folded.

Asatoorian fired a second barrel on the 5♦ turn, this time for 2,000. Once again Leblanc made the call.

On the Q♠ river Asatoorian bet 3,500 only for Leblanc to raise it to 13,500. Asatoorian called.

Leblanc tabled A♦10♦ for the nut-straight and Asatoorian's hand hit the muck.

Stephen Garland limped in from the hijack and Neil McCabe Smith raised to 700 from the button. Vasco Morgado called from the big blind and Smith called as well.

All three players checked the K♦10♥8♠ flp leading to the 7♥ turn. Morgado bet 800, Garland called and Smith folded.

Both players checked the 10♣ river. Garland had missed with A♠J♥ while Morgado showed down 8♥7♣ for tens and eights which was good at showdown.

"Three pair. He gets a bonus" Garland joked as Morgado scooped the pot.
