    Matusow Steaming

    Steamrolling, that is. In three of his last four hands, The Mouth made two wheels and turned rolled up eights in a full boat, bringing his stack up to 20,000.

    26,000 Pot!

    In probably the biggest pot of the tournament thus far, Cindy Violette was eliminated and Barney Boatman was left with about 1,000 chips. Greg Raymer and Scotty Nguyen chopped the main pot for 12,500 apiece.

    These were the players involved, along with their upcards:

    Cindy Violette: {7-Spades}{8-Spades}{5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}
    Unknown: {7-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{3-Clubs}
    Barney Boatman: {2-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{4-Clubs}
    Greg Raymer: {J-Spades}{5-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}
    Scotty Nguyen: {K-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}

    Amidst a frenzy of bets, raises, and reraises, all five players saw the action through to the showdown. In the end, Raymer and Nguyen got the best of it. Raymer took down the high with two pair (aces and jacks) and Scotty won the low with A-3-4-6-7.

    Raymer, who was all-in on the river, moved back into contention on the hand.
