Lisandro Loses Chunk of His Stack

Sean "Sheiky" Sheikhan made it 25,000 to go and Jeffrey Lisandro raised it to 85,000. Sheikhan moved all-in for 142,000 total and Lisandro called. Sheikhan showed a 9 low and Lisandro showed a 10 low. After the hand, Lisandro is down to 209,000 and Sheikhan is up to 290,000.

After the hand, and for the second time this evening, Sheikhan slammed the table and yelled, "YEAH BABY! THAT'S HOW REAL (EXPLETIVE DELETED) DO IT!"

Schneider Loses Half His Stack

Chad Brown made it 12,000 to go and Tom Schneider raised back for another 45,000. Brown reraised Schneider to 180,000, which would have put Schneider all-in, and Schneider folded. After the hand, Schneider is down to 60,000.

Greenstein Doubles Up

This is Event 54 of the 2007 World Series Of Poker and with only the Main Event remaining, this is the last chance players have to accumulate points for the Player of the Year standings.

As it stands right now, the POY leaderboard top 5 is as follows:

Tom Schneider 255 pts
Jeffrey Lisandro 225 pts
Robert Mizrachi 210 pts
Scotty Nguyen 180 pts
Phil Hellmuth 170 pts

Tom Schneider (currently 115,000 in chips) and Jeffrey Lisandro (currently 337,500 in chips) are locked in a battle for points to be declared the 2007 Player of the Year. With only 30 points separating them, the final stages of this tournament could prove to be very dramatic. With 18 players remaining, the points will be awarded like this:

1st 100 pts
2nd 75 pts
3rd 60 pts
4th 55 pts
5th 50 pts
6th 45 pts
7th 40 pts
*points only awarded to players who cash

As you can see, Lisandro must cash in order to have a shot at the title.

If Lisandro cashes and Schneider doesn't, Lisandro will win. If they both make the money, there are a number of different scenarios that can occur. Stay tuned as we bring you all the drama as it unfolds.

No Love For Barry

"Barry!" a spectator yelled from the rail. Barry Greenstein turned around to see three young males railing his table.

"Last night we rooted for you, but we're going with Thor tonight!" the spectator yelled once Barry turned to see them.

"I don't blame you," laughed Barry. The rail chuckled and Barry left the table to high five his audience.
