After a long Day 2 of play that saw the field whittled only as far as the final 18 players, the WSOP has now verified the players' chip counts for the final two tables on Tuesday.

Action will resume at 3pm PDT and it may be another long session before the winner is decided. Soheil Shamseddin sits at the top of a very tightly packed leaderboard with 243,000 in chips, but 10 of the remaining 18 have at least 119,000 in chips to start Day 3 play.
