End-of-day Chip Counts Released

The chips have been tallied and bagged and the WSOP has now released the official counts for the final nine players heading into Tuesday's play. Aaron Katz takes the lead to the final, ahead of Rob Hollink, with the final nine in order as follows:

Eric Buchman Is Eliminated in 10th Place ($35,861)

We saw some brutal hands as we played down to our final table and Eric Buchman was the victim of the last one of the night. After Adam Katz raised before the flop Buchman reraised and Katz called. The flop came and after Katz bet Buchman raised. Katz reraised, Buchman announced he was raising and here things got a bit confusing. Katz actually put out more chips than he was supposed to, he wanted to keep reraising until Buchman was all in, but finally the pot was put right and Katz announced he was betting in the dark, which was enough to set Buchman all in.

The turn card was the , which gave Katz, holding , a flush and beat the set of tens Buchman flopped. Eric needed the board to pair to stay alive and double up, but instead the river brought the , which gave the hand to Katz and eliminated Buchman.

So that's it for tonight. Andy Bloch was a bit off with his prediction on how long it would take to establish our final table but we'll cut him some slack since he'll actually be AT the final table. Which will begin tomorrow at 2pm PST.

Richard Chase Is Eliminated in 11th Place ($35,861)

Richard Chase was all in before the flop holding to Jerrod Ankenman's . Chase hit top pair on the flop but Ankenman caught running diamonds to make a flush and eliminated Chase.

We're now down to 10 players and we're redrawing for seats. They'll play ten-handed until one more player is eliminated.

And Then There Was One

We are down to the final table here in the Brasilia room. We have ten players remaining and await one elimination to finish the day out. Now that both tables are combined, will Rob Hollink continue to run over the table with his massive chip lead?

Rob Hollink Crosses the Million Mark

Hollink won a big pot against Chris Vitch to come near the seven-figure mark then won another big hand, this time against Andy Bloch, when he made kings full of eights. Hollink has almost exactly 1 million in chips before him.

Eric Froehlich is Eliminated in 12th Place ($35,861)

All the money went in after a flop, with J.C. Tran showing to Froelich's . Froehlich failed to hit his straight draw as the fell on the turn and on the river, and Froehlich was out in 12th place. Tran is up to 650,000.

Shun Uchida Is Eliminated in 13th Place ($30,738)

Uchida nursed a short stack through much of the night and he put in the last of his chips with . Brock Parker called with and when the board ran out Parker boosted his stack to 190,000 and Uchida was eliminated.

Steve Sung Is Eliminated in 14th Place ($30,738)

Steve Sung was all in before the flop with Rob Hollink and Eric Buchman both in the pot. The flop came , and Hollink check-called Buchman's bet. Hollink did the same when the turned and they checked it down when the fell on the river. Hollink showed and that was good enough to win the pot and eliminate Sung.
