It would be too hard for the casual fan to follow the mixed games. Plus anything limit is boring TV.

Judging from ESPN's programming decisions, games that don't involve a lot of "all-in" plays don't generate good TV ratings.

all the events are predetermined for taping. your right no limit is better TV...I dont care to watch any of the other events except horse on ESPN

Probably because nl holdem translates the best to TV. Even if they made event 8 a 2 parter they would get in about 15 hands after explaining deuce to 7.

... I missed #136 the first time around, and was at the Harrah's computer checking for it when the list went blank. I will get you #136 shortly, but right now it is lost in a black hole. Make sense?

Greg, a bit of a situation: The Harrah's computer somehow lost the entire payout list when we had about 24 players left. They pulled up the page, and it was completely blank. As a result, they had to rely on our payout sheet to re-copy the info onto their system. More in one second...
