Micon must have had bad luck not making this final table.

Ugh...Farha out. Very disappointing. I really was hoping he'd win this thing.

Did you forget who was playing at that table? At least ESPN could sell the players involved, if not the games.

Ehhh, Did you guys forget they aired the 50k H.O.R.S.E event? I understand all the games for todays event, but I'm not sure te targeted audience would understand/keep up with the games.

Yeah, the only non-NLHE Event I remember being aired was from last year, when Devilfish Ulliott, Burt Boutin John Juanda and Humberto Brenes were at the final table. It's just annoying. We'd been waiting for a heads-up battle between Farha and Ivey since the 2003 WSOP and were denied it. So sick

James Mackey and Tony Rivera both attended the University of Missouri. Also, it isn't Tony's first World Series, just his first cash.

In 2005 and 2006, ESPN aired several non-NLHE events. By 2007, the WSOP coverage was almost completely NLHE. I'm sure ESPN figures it couldn't explain this mixed format to the "all-in" crowd well enough to draw good ratings.

They're not filming this table? Absolutely ridiculous!!!

Thanks change...Ugh...Farha, Elezra, a ratings bonanza, and nothing. Every time he's at a final Farha makes it worth watching. Yeesh.

The final table is NOT being filmed. We're playing on the secondary final table outside the ESPN stage. The FT of the $2K NLHE is on the main stage. ESPN will not be filming another event until the $50K H.O.R.S.E.

change....Is this final table being filmed? Please Tell me ESPN is not so stupid to once again not film a final table with Farha. They fumbled the ball when Farha and Ivey went at it for Sammy's 2nd bracelet. Please tell me they're not doing it again.

@xzchief - You are correct, sir. Eli was all in, but still a favorite on the hand.
NotasGreatDane
2008-06-06
Eli was at risk because he had fewer chips. It doesn't matter that he had the better hand after the flop, when your opponent has you covered and he still has outs to beat you, you're at risk because you can be busted and he can't. Let's see Sammy F. win bracelet number 3!

No, wait a minute - I was looking at the wrong hand! Still confused about that Dwan/Elezra hand....surely Eli was the favorite?

2008-06-06
Dwan had Eli covered so Eli was at risk of busting, albeit not a huge risk given the situation.

2008-06-06
Ah, Eli's Jack suddenly turned into a Queen.....thanks for the update!

2008-06-06
Surely Eli had the better two pair in that hand - Aces & Jacks....how was he at risk? Surely only if another 3 came off?

2008-06-06
Never mind - I guess he did. Probably wishing he hadn't bothered after this start! Go Eli & Sammy!!!

Has Dwan made it over - I guess he was playing in Event #11 also....

No, strictly a highlights reel. HFH in mixed games is nearly impossible.

Will the final table coverage be hand-for-hand?
