Torelli Flushes Esfandiari Away

Alec Torelli supped all the rungood juice today.

Firstly on a {7-Hearts}

board, the two got it all-in.

Esfandiari: {J-Hearts}

The turn was a complete blank but Torelli hit the {6-Hearts}

on the river for a straight flush to double through after being the short stack.

Soon after Esfandiari was all-in on a {Q-Diamonds}

flop with

and Torelli held {A-Spades}

. This time the {4-Spades}

came on the turn and immediately Esfandiari announced, "Well played, good game sir."

The river was the incidental {J-Hearts}

and Torelli joins James Sudworth and Vladmir Geshkenbein in the semifinals.
