Juha Helppi Eliminates Vicky Coren

Lights Out For Coren...
Lights Out For Coren...
And after a marathon heads up battle, it's over.

Vicky Coren moved all-in preflop and Juha Helppi called.

Coren: {K-Hearts} {8-Diamonds}
Helppi: {K-Clubs} {10-Hearts}

The board came a non-Coren friendly {5-Clubs} {2-Clubs} {J-Clubs} {Q-Spades} {9-Diamonds} meaning Juha Helppi goes through to the quarter final.

Torelli Flushes Esfandiari Away

"Ez Game."
"Ez Game."
Alec Torelli supped all the rungood juice today.

Firstly on a {7-Hearts} {9-Hearts} {2-Hearts} board, the two got it all-in.

Torelli: {10-Hearts} {8-Hearts}
Esfandiari: {J-Hearts} {4-Hearts}

The turn was a complete blank but Torelli hit the {6-Hearts} on the river for a straight flush to double through after being the short stack.

Soon after Esfandiari was all-in on a {Q-Diamonds} {5-Spades} {2-Spades} flop with {Q-Hearts} {8-Diamonds} and Torelli held {A-Spades} {8-Spades}. This time the {4-Spades} came on the turn and immediately Esfandiari announced, "Well played, good game sir."

The river was the incidental {J-Hearts} and Torelli joins James Sudworth and Vladmir Geshkenbein in the semifinals.

Double For Coren

"Sigh."
"Sigh."
Coren moved all-in from the button and Helppi called.

Coren: {10-Hearts} {9-Diamonds}
Helppi: {A-Hearts} {6-Clubs}

Board: {6-Hearts} {2-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} {9-Spades} {3-Hearts}

As the nine hit, Juha Helppi let out a huge sigh rubbing his eyes as he seemed to visibly age for a second. They're now back to even.

What Does TK Thing?

The poker clearly isn't enough fun for Torelli and Esfandiari, they're playing a game of "What Does Thomas Kremser Think?" where they're betting on how Thomas will answer their questions.

The first one?

How much money would it take for Thomas Kremser to shave his head?
