First Blood to Koubi

They players are still settling in at the final table but Fred Koubi is already accumulating chips. Sitting with the button, he called a pre-flop raise by Mike Cipolla. Big blind Scott Epstein also called to a three-way flop of {2-Hearts} {8-Hearts} {10-Hearts}. Action checked to Koubi. He bet. Only Cipolla called.

Cipolla check-called another bet on the {4-Diamonds} turn and one last bet on the {9-Diamonds} river.

"Nut-nut," said Koubi. Then, as he tabled {a-Hearts} {3-Hearts} {j-Diamonds} {8-Clubs}, he said it again with more feeling. "Nut-nut!" Koubi snapped his fingers and pointed at himself with both hands.

"I love to stay these words."
