Tabatabai Gets CaughtJohn Tabatabai Gets Caught in the Cookie Jar
With the board reading K-T-8-4-3, John Tabatabai check-raised the 1,000 river bet of Kathleen Hadrich to make it 6,000 total. Hadrich insta-called and Tabatabai simply tossed his cards into the muck to concede the hand.
The pot is pushed towards Hadrich and she slides her cards to the dealer face down. Tabatabai exclaims that the cards of Hadrich should be shown, but since Tabatabai mucked his hand the dealer rules that the cards of Hadrich do not have to be shown. After some discussion a tournament director is called and rules that the cards must indeed be shown. The dealer then reveals Hadrich's cards and shows
for nothing but a pair of tens! What an amazing call! -

Here's an example... Booth raised to 800. Annette_15 re-raised to 2,700. Booth jammed for 30,000 and Annette_15 folded.
A couple of hands later, Booth raised 600 from UTG. A player from late position re-raised to 1,000. Booth fired out 15,000 and his opponent folded.
