Of the 460 players who started the tournament, 170 survived to see Day 2-- 82 from Day 1A and 88 from today. Peter Eastgate (79,700) and Ola Brandborn (79,300) continue to hold the chip lead they accrued yesterday, but Theo Jorgensen, after a late run today, is close behind with 75,900. The average stack is 27,046.

Play Has Finished for the Day

All the hands have finished at the tables and the floor staff are racing off the 25-value chips before bagging and tagging each player's chips.

From our last recce of the tournament area, it looks like Theo Jorgensen has made a late push for the lead and currently has around 77,000 chips. Following close behind is Stig Farholt with 70,000 and Nedin Musa with 65,000.

The clock shows 92 players left, but the true figure will probably be slightly lower once they have finished bagging the chips.

As soon as we have the accurate chip counts we will post them. The players who survived today will join yesterday's 82 survivors tomorrow at 2pm local time (GMT+1).

Charlie Ciresi Eliminated

On the last hand of the night, Arnaud Mattern raised to 1,800, a middle-position player reraised to 8,000, and Charlie Ciresi moved all in for 12,500. Mattern folded and the MP player called. Ciresi turned up A-A and was in great shape against his opponent's {Q-Clubs}

. The flop was K-J-7, the turn was an eight, but a queen spiked on the river -- a cruel end to Ciresi's tournament.

After two early-position players limped in for 600 apiece, Michael "Timex" McDonald popped it to 2,100, only to see PokerStars qualifier and fellow Canuck Russell Carson move all in from the button. The limpers folded and McDonald insta-called.

Ramzi Jelassi Eliminates Stephen Devlin
