That's Day 2

An insane level of play means that we are done for today. Josh Arieh has all the chips, but returning title defender Louie Esposito is still in, as is pro player Dave Fox and two-time Event #2 winner Philip Sparta.

Join us back here at 2 p.m. Central time for what promises to be an interesting final table!

A Father-Son Success

The interesting story today was that Clinton J. McCollom and his father Ted McCollom both went deep into this event, and for most of the day were at the same table. A rare father-son final table did not occur, though, as McCollom just missed the final table at 11th. Still, this family has to be proud of their finish today -- especially if Ted goes even further tomorrow.

Carl Johnson Eliminated in 10th ($12,240)

Leonard Pruzansky busted Carl Johnson in a boat-over-boat confrontation. Johnson turned a boat and Pruzansky rivered a bigger boat. This happened before a ten-player final table could be made (the same thing happened in Indiana), so they're redrawing right now.

Clinton J. McCollom Eliminated in 11th ($12,240)

Dave Fox eliminated Clinton McCollom.

Joel Font Eliminated in 12th ($12,240)

Joel Font shoves for 44,000 and Dave Fox calls in the small blind. Fox shows A-Q to Font's K-10. The board is J-6-5-7-Q and Font is out.

Kenny Milam Eliminated in 13th ($10,710)

Josh Arieh raises to 11,000 and Kenny Milam reraises to 31,000. Arieh re-reraises to 75,000 and Milam is all in for 170,000 total. Arieh calls and shows {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} to Milam's {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}. THe board is {J-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{8-Spades}{Q-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and Milam is out. Arieh has even more chips now.

Will "The Thrill" Failla Eliminated in 14th ($10,710)

On a turn of Q-J-9-J, Josh Arieh bets 15,000. Will "The Thrill" Failla shoves and Arieh calls. Failla has Q-10 and Arieh has {K-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}. The river is a seven and Failla is out.

Bruce MacGregor Doubles Through Carl Johnson

Bruce MacGregor raises to 16,000 preflop. Carl Johnson in the big blind has 12,000 to call and goes all in. MacGregor calls and shows {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} to Carl Johnson's {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}. The board is {6-Clubs}{3-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} and MacGregor doubles up.

Larry Satterwhite Eliminated in 15th ($10,710)

Larry Satterwhite limps in the small blind and Ted McCollom checks in the big blind. The board is 3-3-2 with one heart. Satterwhite is all in with {8-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and McCollom calls with K-9. The turn is a {5-Hearts}, the river is a nine, no heart, and McCollom busts Satterwhite.
