Kara Scott's Tips For Poker Players
PartyPoker Pro Kara Scott regularly updates her blog where she gives an insight into the life as a poker pro, hostess and globetrotter. Last week, Scott blogged about how she loved online poker and shortly after the post went live, Scott received an email from a friend pointing out the dangers of sitting down too much.
Forever looking after her fans, Scott has come up with four tips to keep poker players moving around, keep the blood pumping and be more healthy as a result. Check out the tips here.
Qualifiers for Three European World Poker Tour Events now Open
There are three Europe-based World Poker Tour events taking place in the coming months, and, as usual, PartyPoker is the best place to qualify for them.
The World Poker Tour returns to Spain in April when it will drop anchor in sunny Barcelona. Qualifiers for WPT Barcelona will remain in the PartyPoker lobby until Mar. 24, which gives you plenty of time to win a package worth $7,000.
The World Poker Tour National events are a great way for players to experience playing in a WPT event, but at a fraction of the cost. One WPT National event that is sure to be extremely popular is WPT National Mauritius, and you can qualify for a $5,000 package on PartyPoker.
Each $5,000 package consists of the $2,000 Main Event buy-in, five nights of hotel accommodation and $1,800 in spending money. Sun, sea, surf and scorching-hot poker action, what more could you want?
The third WPT event we want to mention may not be as glamorous on the outside as WPT National Mauritius, but it should attract a massive crowd and therefore huge prizes. WPT National London takes place between Mar. 14-18 at the Aspers Casino, Stratford and should see some of the biggest name in Europe compete.
Satellite events are running in the PartyPoker lobby and will remain there until Mar. 3, so do not delay. Win your seat today!
Win up to $100,000 in the World Domination Promotion!
The World Domination promotion has been running for just under two weeks, during which time it has awarded some fantastic prizes. Although time is running out if you want to get involved in trying to conquer the world, you still have until the end of February to win your share of some superb prizes.
The World Domination promotion will see PartyPoker players awarded one of 64 cities for every 10 PartyPoints they earn. Each city carries with it a prize, including entries to freerolls with prize pools ranging from $1,000 to $10,000, and instant cash prizes of between $1 and $20.
Furthermore, collect enough cities and you can build entire countries! Each country contains four cities. Find all four and you will win between $50 and $1,200. If you think those prizes are impressive, then wait until you see what you can win for building continents and conquering the world.
Keep collecting cities and you could complete a continent, opening the door to some massive cash prizes. Each continent is made up of four countries. Build a continent and you will be awarded between $1,000 and $7,000. Complete all four continents to achieve World Domination and be rewarded the gigantic $100,000 prize.
PartyPoints are awarded at a rate of two per $1 paid in rake or tournament fees, so even the smallest-stakes player should be able to earn plenty of cities! Plus, PartyPoker will award you with your first city for just five PartyPoints. What are you waiting for? Start your quest for world domination today.
