FTOPS XXII Day 3: "Vampyboy" Tops Star-Studded Final Table in Event #8
The 22nd installment of the Full Tilt Online Poker Series continued Tuesday with three more tournaments from the 38-event schedule: Event #6 $216 PL Omaha Hi/Lo 6-Max ; Event #7 $322 Razz; and Event #8 $216 NL Hold'em Rush Turbo.
Each event eclipsed its guaranteed prize pool as more than $335,000 was awarded across the three tournaments. The biggest winner of the day was "Vampyboy," who defeated a tough final table in Event #8 to scoop a $41,400 top prize. "PimpDaddyDolla" (Event #6) and "motion713" (Event #8) also won FTOPS jerseys on Tuesday.
With eight events already in the books, Germany's "keinebeine" has a comfortable lead in the FTOPS XXII Leader Board. The German has 346 points, most of which came from winning Event #4 on Monday for $131,298. His closest competitor in the standings is Event #1 champ Tom "hitthehole" Middleton with 261 points. Also in the top 10 are Thayer "THAY3R" Rasmussen (7th - 207 points) and Brandon "norajean" Meyers (8th - 205 points). The leaderboard winner will receive a custom Full Tilt Poker avatar and an FTOPS XXIII event package worth $11,000.
Here's a look at the results from Tuesday's FTOPS events:
FTOPS XXII Event #6: Pot-Limit Omaha H/L Six-Max ($75K Guaranteed)
The first of two Omaha hi/lo events on the FTOPS XXII schedule saw 427 players put up the $216 buy-in, generating a prize pool worth $85,000. Brandon "norajean" Meyers (12th - $1,153) and Rayan "rkruok" Nathan (19th - $598) were among the notables who made deep runs but ultimately fell short of glory. "PimpDaddyDolla" emerged from a relatively unknown group of finalists to claim the $14,686 top prize after a three-way deal.

FTOPS XXII Event #7: Razz ($50K Guaranteed)
The lone Razz tournament of the series saw 236 runners surpass the guaranteed prize pool by more than $20,000. Shyam "S_Dot111" Srinivasan (17th - $708) was the biggest name left deep in the tournament but was unable to reach the final table. Haling from Canada, "motion713" went on to win the tournament for $19,470.
FTOPS XXII Event #8: No-Limit Hold'em Rush Turbo ($150K Guaranteed)
In what will likely be the shortest tournament of FTOPS XXII, the $216 No-Limit Hold'em Rush Turbo took just 2 hours and 17 minutes to crown a winner. Several big names weaved their way through a 900-player field to reach the final table, including Christer "Betong" Johansson, Eric "Avril Sharapova" Ladny, Thayer "THAY3R" Rasmussen, Jakob "mendieta19" Carlsson and Nick "FU_15" Maimone. In the end, it was Germany's "Vampyboy" who claimed the title after defeating Maimone heads up for $41,400.
Others finishing in the money were Pat "obiedman" O'Brien (22nd - $702), Nicky "cod meharly" Evans (24th - $702) and Jon "therookieqq9" Plens (26th - $702).
