Victoria "Tid" Sinclair Leaves the EPT Family

Great live events like the ones organized by the European Poker Tour (EPT) are only possible because of the great individuals that work tirelessly to make sure that everything goes exactly as people want.

Although many may not be familiar with the names of those who work behind the scenes, these often uncelebrated heroes are a key to the success of the events we all love.

That's why, right when the EPT crew started to pack their things in Malta to get ready for the next stop of the circuit in Prague, the Director of Poker Communications at PokerStars, Lee Jones, decided to publish a post to say goodbye to Victoria "Tid" Sinclair, "an events coordinator and the hub of EPT organization for longer than many people can remember."

"Companies have arcs and individual lives and careers have arcs," Jones writes on the PokerStars Blog in a post titled The Hardest Part of the Job.

As Jones explains, "sometimes those arcs diverge, and nobody expects (or really wants) somebody to stay on the company's arc when his or her personal arc needs to bend differently."

Visit the PokerStars Blog to learn more about what Sinclair did at the EPT and about what Jones considers to be the hardest part of the job for someone at PokerStars.

Tournaments Are Now Available From Mobile at Full Tilt

On the online side of things, on Oct. 31 Full Tilt announced a long awaited update of their mobile apps - as tournament play is now officially available from iPad, iPhone, and Android devices.

In a post titled Mobile Tournaments Are Here! the poker room communicates that the mobile app users can now "access a variety of tournaments across a range of buy-ins – including Knockout, Shootout and Flipout Tournaments."

Voted as the 'Best Poker App' at the IGA Gaming App Awards 2014, the Full Tilt poker app is now a step closer to being the perfect app for mobile poker.

To know more about the events available through the mobile app, head to the Full Tilt Blog. Otherwise, see everything for yourself by opening an account at Full Tilt here, and downloading the free apps from the AppStore or GooglePlay.

Always Be…Learning

Starting from the legendary 'A-B-C: Always Be Closing' speech by Alec Baldwin in Glengarry Glen Ross, party poker's Paul Seaton takes to the site's blog to stress the importance of learning in poker.

"In poker, what pays the bills is learning," Seatin writes. "Learn mathematics, physical tells, betting patterns and many more. Picking up on common traits used in everyday life is what will make you money quickly, whether at a cash table or the Sunday majors."

If you want to know more about what you should be learning right now and what skills can make you become a winning player, head the partypoker blog and check out the post titled Teach The People: Always Be Learning.
