Check Out the PokerStars New Jersey Sunday Tournament Schedule
The PokerStars New Jersey soft launch kicked off Wednesday, March 17, 2016, and it was received well by the community with some very positive reactions. The world's leading online poker client wasn't the only thing PokerStars rolled out, as the site released the schedule for daily and Sunday tournaments.

Familiar Names and Big Buy-Ins
Following the soft launch, PokerStars will officially launch in New Jersey on Monday, March 21. Starting Sunday, March 27, there will be plenty of action on the site with five Sunday major tournaments running. Between those five Sunday majors — the Sunday Warm-Up, the Sunday Storm, the Sunday Special, the Sunday High Roller, and the Sunday Supersonic — there will be a combined $85,000 in guaranteed prize pools.
If some of those event names sound familiar, that's because they are, but due to PokerStars New Jersey being a ring-fenced market restricted to players only within the boundaries of the Garden State, the details of each will be slightly different.
Kicking things off at 4 p.m. ET every Sunday will be the $50 Sunday Warm-Up. This event will feature a guarantee of $10,000.
One hour later, at 5 p.m. ET, the $10 Sunday Storm will take place. This event is at a more affordable price point than the $50 Sunday Warm-Up with one-fifth of the buy-in, but the guarantee is set at an attractive $5,000. Expect this event to have a larger, more recreational field than the Sunday Warm-Up, but still provide plenty of play and possible return on your investment.
At 6 p.m. ET is the second biggest buy-in of the PokerStars New Jersey Sunday schedule with the $200 Sunday Special. All signs point to this event being the Sunday major in all of New Jersey, and it comes with the largest guaranteed prize pool of the bunch at $50,000.
Whereas the Sunday Special has the largest prize pool guarantee, the $500 Sunday High Roller, taking place at 7 p.m. ET, boasts the largest price tag for entry. Like the name suggests, this event is truly for the high rollers of the New Jersey player pool, but it's an event all players should aspire to one day become a regular in, and it comes with a guaranteed prize pool of $15,000.
Last, but certainly not least, you've got the $75 Sunday Supersonic at 10 p.m. ET. This event features a hyper-turbo structure for those looking for a wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am tournament, but there will still be plenty of money to be won with a guaranteed prize pool of $5,000.
