Final Week of Global Poker Eagle Cup is Here
We’re in the final week of the Eagle Cup II, the low to mid buy-in online tournament series that is part of the Global Poker Championships at Global Poker. So far, 60 of the 81 Sweeps Cash Championship events have crowned their champions, all of whom were sent a Global Poker Champions pack including an Eagle trophy with their name on it.
If you haven’t locked up your trophy yet though, worry not as there’s still time. And with the low, medium and high main events firing up this weekend, there’s also plenty of real cash prizes up for grabs in the series.
Final Week of Eagle Cup II
The rest of the week is full of exciting Eagle Cup events, with a low, medium and high buy-in level for each. Thursday’s and Saturday night’s Eagles will be played on 6-handed tables, and pot-limit Omaha lovers can get their fix on Friday. The high PLO event features a $33 buy-in and a SC$5,000 guarantee, with one rebuy and one add-on available.
Sunday is the big show with three deep-stacked main events. The $110 buy-in medium Main Event will kick things off at 3 p.m. ET, guaranteeing a prize pool of at least SC$40,000. The $22 low Main Event starts at 4:15 p.m. ET with a SC$15,000 guarantee.
The high Main Event carries a SC$218 buy-in and starts at 5:30 p.m. ET. With a SC$100,000 guarantee, the event will need at least 500 players to participate for the guarantee to be covered; otherwise there will be an overlay. Check out the rest of the events below.

Eagle Cup Tournament of Champions
Players who finish in the top two positions of any Sweeps Cash Eagle tournament will gain entry into the Eagle Cup Tournament of Champions on Sunday, Oct. 28. All the series champs and runner-ups will compete for $10,000 worth of value in that one, including a $5,000 live tournament package reserved for the winner.
