TBT: RIP Pat Humphreys, Phil Ivey's Longtime Friend and Fan

Last Sunday night, Patsy "Pat" Humphreys passed away. Humphreys is well-known as one half of the Phil Ivey super-fan club. Both her and her husband Mel became fixtures at the World Series of Poker Main Event. The two were often spotted on Phil Ivey's rail chanting "Ivey! Ivey! Ivey!" while wearing either a shirt or button (or both) with Ivey's face on it.

We dedicate this week's Throwback Thursday video to Pat Humphreys. In this video from 2014, Amber Fukuda interviews the Humphreys at their FIFTEENTH World Series of Poker Main Event. Pat and Mel first met Phil Ivey playing poker in Atlantic City when Phil was just 17 years old. In the video, they explain why they love being on Ivey's rail and what the two of them taught Ivey about poker.

Obituary of Patsy Humphreys.
