partypoker LIVE is calling upon the poker community to help it raise vital funds for the victims of Hurricane Dorian via a special charity tournament held online at partypoker.
Hurricane Dorian was the most powerful tropical cyclone on record to hit the Bahamas. It is regarded as the worst natural disaster in the country’s history. It hit the Bahamas on Sep. 1 bringing with it maximum sustained winds of 185 mph (295 km/h), costing at least 53 lives, leaving 1,300 people missing, and causing an estimated $7 billion worth of damage.
Grand Bahama and The Abacos Islands took the brunt of the devastation. Both are in close proximity to Baha Mar where partypoker LIVE heads each year for the Caribbean Poker Party. The Hurricane Dorian Online Charity Tournament shuffles up and deals at 9:00 p.m. CEST on Oct. 13 at partypoker. Each of the eight players who reach the final table of the Hurricane Dorian Online Charity Tournament receives a prize, as shown below.

Each $6,000 package awards a $1,100 CPP Mini Main Event buy-in, nine nights’ accommodation at the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar for two people, $600 room credit, and $2,000 for expenses.
