WPT Global ambassador Ethan Yau is one of the absolute titans in the poker vlogging space and has gone from playing $1/$2 to some of the highest stakes games imaginable in just a few years. Yau has found success not just on YouTube, but also on the green felt itself and is a WSOP bracelet winner as well as a two-time WPT Champion. Poker Achievements
While regularly found in the cash game streets, Yau also has a penchant for tournament poker. His first recorded cash came in 2019, and since then, he's amassed over $2 million in live tournament earnings.
Yau is a regular fixture at World Series of Poker, World Poker Tour and European Poker Tour stops.
He won his sole bracelet during the 2020 WSOP Online, winning Event 26: $500 No Limit Hold'em - Grande Finale for $164,494.
His next marquee triumph came the following year, where he won a Mid-Stakes Poker Tour event for $230,379.
His two wins at the WPT also came in quick succession. His first WPT accolade came in December 2022 after he beat Kevin Rabichow in heads-up play to capture the WPT World Championship $25K High Roller title. He pocketed the $894,240 up top, marking the biggest cash of his career. Then, in September 2023, he won the WPT Australia Gold Coast Mini Main Event for a further $95,952.
