Wet Board

A reference to the “texture” of the community cards in hold’em or Omaha. A “wet board” refers to one in which the community cards are suited or connected in ways that provide many possibilities to make straights or flushes, or to provide draws for either or both. For example, a board of 1098 would be considered “wet.” (See also “Dry Board.”)
