Ed Miller Discusses Playing the Player

Poker is a game of using incomplete information to make the most profitable decisions. The best players don't rely on their cards to do this. It is essential to assess your opponents to figure the best way to combat their strategy and lean on their soft spots. Someone who knows this concept well is Ed Miller. He is not only a professional poker player, but also an author. He penned the books Small Stakes Hold 'em: Winning Big with Expert Play with David Sklansky and Mason Malmuth and Getting Started in Hold 'em. He's currently a video instructor for CardRunners and recently completed a multi-part series on, "how to play the player."

This teaser is from Part II of that series, and in it Miller focuses on playing versus regular players. He highlights leaks and weaknesses of tight-aggressive opponents and discusses ways in which that style can be exploited.
