Teddy Sheringham's presence at the table featuring Antonio Esfandiari and Team 888Poker's Sofia Lovgren has been anentertaining one, and we've just seen an epic hand. The discussion before the hand was Antonio instigating a bet about how many goal in his club & international career Sheringham has scored, and how many Lovgren would guess. As it happened, the hand put the discussion on hand as Sheringham, on the button) raised pre-flop against Sofia in the small blind. Lovgren three-bet to 4,800 and only Sheringham called to see a flop.

The flop of {2-Spades}{10-Spades}{3-Diamonds} saw Sheringham bet 4,000 but Lovgren raised to 11,500. Sheringham called. The turn of {A-Spades} saw Teddy Sheringham make a bold move, betting 25,000. Lovgren re-raised all-in and Sheringham quickly called.

Teddy Sheringham: {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

Sheringham had to fade a queen on the river, and when it fell {J-Spades}, he had a massive 159,800 stack and Lovgren was out. Spectacular, and she never got to guess how many goals Sheringham had scored. If you had a round number in your mind, maybe you were right - 289 club goals added to 11 for England made it 300 up for Sheringham. He's flying high at the top of the chip counts.

Level 3 : 300/600, 100 ante

The players are on their first break of the day, and will be back at the table in 20 minutes.

We won't miss any of the drama.

Sapiano Eliminates One

Level 3 : 300/600, 100 ante

Albert Sapiano has just delivered a player from the third level of this £2,000 High Roller here at Aspers Casino in Stratford.

Melanie Weisner made the opening bet of [1,600 from under the gun, and was called by the player in the next seat as well as Sapiano on the button.

The flop of {3-Spades}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts} saw Sapiano lead for 3,500, which was called. On the turn of {K-Clubs}, Sapiano bet out 25,000 to set his opponent all-in, and that opponent called, quickly turning over {10-Hearts}{10-Spades} . They were drawing dead, however, as Sapiano held {5-Clubs}{7-Spades} and had flopped the nut straight. The river of {Q-Hearts} was inconsequential, and saw Sapiano vault up to around 98,000 in chips.

On the other side of the table, Enzo Del Piero has been moved to join in the fun having previously been at the same table as Antonio Esfandiari. Del Piero is already up to 110,000 and has a great recent High Roller record to build on.

Sapiano and Nitsche Battle for Control

Level 3 : 300/600, 100 ante

After both Albert Sapiano in the cut-off and Dominik Nitsche called an opening bet of 1,500 from middle position, the flop came {3-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and Nitsche led out, making it 7,500. The original raiser folded, but Sapiano did now such thing, making it 15,000. Nitsche called.

The turn of {10-Clubs} saw both players check, but on the river of {A-Diamonds}, Sapiano bet 7,500 and Nitsche let it go.

Winsor Wins One

Level 2 : 200/400, 100 ante

Pre-flop action at a lively table featuring Team 888Poker's Kara Scott and Dominik Nitsche saw Ben Winsor and Albert Sapiano head three-way to a flop of {A-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}. All three checked the flop as well as the {K-Clubs} turn. However, on the {3-Diamonds} river, Winsor's bet of around 2,000 chips was instantly folded to by his opponents.

Artan Dedusha, who played the Opening Event here at Aspers last weekend, as well as 888Poker professional Melanie Weisner have both just sat down.
