The players are on their last 15-minute break of the day.
For the first time in 888Live tournaments Aspers will see the introduction of the Shot Clock.
Once the dealer has dealt the last card in a hand they operate the timer with a pedal and the 'Shot Clock' begins and each player will be given a certain amount of time to act.
If a player is facing a bet or raise, the timer will begin only after their chips are counted and the number of chips required to call are stated. Players will also be allotted a certain number of time extensions, each of which will add an extra thirty seconds to the timer in the event that they need more time to reach a decision.
You can read more about the Shot Clock which will be used in both the High Roller and the Main Event later in the Festival.
There have been a number of eliminations in the last level with a consequence that tables are breaking as they’re reduced to a field of 61 players across 7 tables.
Jamie Spencer, one of the big stacks, has just been moved to Terry Jordan’s table and is two places to his left so has position.
They tangled in an early pot with Jordon getting the best of it, firing out aggressively to take down a pot on the flop.
