Allan Doubles to Close the Gap

David Allan was on the button when he raised it up to 60,000. Ken Demlakian called out of the big blind and the dealer readied three cards for the felt.

Flop: {7-Spades}{3-Clubs}{5-Clubs}

Demlakian checked here and Allan bet 75,000. Demlakian then check-raised to 215,000. Allan quickly announced the all in - making it an extra 465,000 to go.

"I hope this is not impatient on my part," said Demlakian. "I call."

When Allan tabled his {7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} and saw Demlakian turn over {k-Spades}{5-Diamonds}, he was in great shape to double up. The {10-Diamonds} turn and {j-Diamonds} river changed nothing and Allan scooped up the double to once again bounce over one million in chips.
