We have noticed another couple of players have been eliminated. One of those players is Allister Williams, while the other is New Zealand's only WSOP gold bracelet winner Simon Watt.
We didn't catch Watt's elimination, but according to his tablemates, he first lost a big pot when holding and having an opponent at-risk with and the player hit Broadway. Watt then eventually lost all his chips with an under pair versus a couple of over cards and that was the end of his day.

Nicolas Oger has just taken a chunk out of Anesone Bragouits to dent the moment of the runaway chip leader.
We arrived on the flop of to see action checked to Bragouits in position. He made it 3,000 to go but Oger check-raised to 8,000 from the blinds. Action folded to Bragouits who quickly called as the appeared on the turn.
Oger continued to tell the story with another bet of 8,000. Bragouits wasted no time in calling as the completed the board. Oger slowed down and tapped the table as Bragouits tossed out a bet of 15,000. This represented a fair whack of Oger’s remaining stack but he decided to make the call.
Bragouits opened for a pair of nines as Oger gave a fist pump of delight as his had his opponent out-kicked.
Bragouits drops back to 130,000, as Oger, who described himself as the “crazy French guy”, is now up to a healthy 90,000 in chips.

“Now you know not to mess with the chip leader!” overnight chip leader Amant Nauhria said to Daniel Levy after he got him to fold on a flop.
We arrived at the hand in question to find Levy checking over to Nauhria, who bet 4,100. Back on Levy and he check-raised to 9,500. Nauhria then made it 20,100 and it didn’t take too long for Levy to fold.
This is when Nauhria told Levy not to mess with him.
“If you were bluffing you would have shown,” said Levy.
“Really? Well, next time,” Nauhria snapped back.
“You’re not even the chip leader anymore anyway,” Levy responded, pointing over at Nathan Gubieski who had managed to recently chip up.
There have been lots of eliminations during these early stages of Day 2 of the ANZPT Auckland Main Event. Some of those recently departed include Martin Miller, Markus Sclesesener, Hardy Li and Brodie Luke.

Anesone Bragouits started the day with the second largest chip stack and can now call himself well and truly the chip leader.
We arrived to find Bragouits involved in a hand with Lukas Byrns on the river of a board. There was already over 30,000 in the pot and Byrns had a bet of 21,000 in front of him on the button. Bragouits went deep into the tank and eventually called.
Byrns turned over for just king-high, while Bragouits slammed his onto the felt in joy as he scooped the very nice pot.
Bragouits is now up to 150,000 in chips, while Byrns is hurting with under 30,000 after starting the day with a hefty stack of over 60,000.

Team PokerStars Pro Bryan Huang was down to around 12,000 when he found himself all in preflop holding against the of Ryan Shiffman. Huang was in front and it stayed that way on the flop, but then things got even better for Huang as a hit the turn. Huang had locked up the win already with the river changing nothing and leaving Huang to sit with a stack of around 28,000.

Steve Oliver started the day as one of the shortest stacks in the room, but has managed a quick double up and then some to now sit with a stack of a little more than 20 big blinds.
Oliver got his chips in preflop holding and was up against the of Jason Cook. The board ran out and just like that Oliver had some breathing room.
