Welcome to the penultimate day of ANZPT Sydney!
The 54 remaining players have made the money after the bubble burst on the final hand of play on Day 2. Each player has locked up $3,650, but all are eying off the $225,000 top prize.
Leading the way with 421,500 in chips is Min Jae Park, while 2011 ANZPT Sydney champ Michael Kanaan is also in the top three stacks and looking like a real danger.
Dominic "The Spewtard" Coombe, Didier Guerin, Jackson Zheng, 2011 ANZPT Adelaide champion Octavian Voegele, recent Aussie Millions Main Event fifth-place finisher James Rann, and Tim "weygang" English are some of the others still in contention.
The cards will be in the air from 12:30pm local time and we wont stop until a final table is set. Join us then!

The 54 players are in their seats and the cards are in the air!
Today we play down to a final table.
Going by the structure, it's likely that will take around eight levels of play.
Shane Pearce has eliminated Uzziah Thomas after both players had moved all in preflop. Pearce held the but was dominated by Thomas’s . The flop and turn fell giving no danger to Thomas’s hand. The cruelness of poker was shown when the hit the river and Thomas hit the rail. Pearce received almost a full double up and is now on 120,000.
It looks like Thomas may have been the first out.
We will find out confirmation of placings throughout the day and update the payouts on our official prize pool page.

Evan Ryan has found an ugly demise at the hands of Xuan Liu.
We arrived at the aftermath, with Ryan already exiting the tournament, but it appeared it must have been all in preflop with Ryan up against Liu's with the dealer having spread out a board - hard to beat quads!

Tim English was down to his last 7,000 in chips which he splashed in the middle from the big blind following the open raise from Steve Pappas.
English was hoping for at least a sweat with his against Pappas’ but it was all over pretty painlessly on the board of sending English to the rail.
