David Saab Bubbles Out of the Money

David Saab eliminated
David Saab eliminated
In a stunning turnabout, David Saab is the bubble boy for this tournament, having just been eliminated in 17th place. He raised to 6,000 preflop and was called by Brian Kang from the button. The flop was {2-Diamonds} {3-Hearts} {10-Hearts} and brought a roughly pot-sized bet of 17,500 from Saab. Kang tanked for about a minute before making the call.

As soon as he called, Saab disgustedly said, "Blah blah blah, I check the turn dark." He was already out of his seat, standing over the table as the dealer burned and turned the {7-Diamonds} and Kang reached for chips.

"Careful my friend," said Saab, but Kang fired out anyway, for 25,000. The moment the chips were across the line, Saab announced he was all in. Kang snap-called. It was a repeat of the big hand the two played just roughly forty minutes before; Saab showed baby suited cards, {6-Hearts} {2-Hearts}, and Kang showed a small set, {3-Spades} {3-Clubs}. This time, however, Saab had hearts in addition to a pair.

"Do you think I can suck out?" Saab asked nobody in particular. For his part, Kang couldn't watch the river come down, but he had no cause for alarm. The river was the {4-Clubs}. With it, David Saab's tournament came to an end.
