Justin Tazelaar is Our Bubble Boy

Justin Tazelaar is no longer smiling.
Justin Tazelaar is no longer smiling.
Jimmy Tran opened the action to 13,000, Justin Tazelaar bumped it to 40,000 before David Formosa bumped it up even more, moving all in for 270,000. After tanking for quite a bit, Tazelaar finally made the call with {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}. Saghabi had the {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}, and Tazelaar would need serious help.

The board rolled out {7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Spades}{9-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Justin Tazelaar was eliminated in 49th place, one short of the money. David Formosa is now up to 425,000.

She's up to 220,000 while Ivin slipped to 290,000.

Hiscox Sits Back Down

Sander Aalders called Andrew Hiscox's all in preflop holding {A-Clubs} {K-Clubs}. Hiscox would be racing with {J-Diamonds} {J-Hearts}.

The flop came down {K-Spades} {10-Hearts} {6-Diamonds} to put Aalders in the lead and move Hiscox close to an exit.

The turn was the {4-Diamonds} and pushed Hiscox closer to the door, but a nice, fat {J-Spades} hit the river to put him back in the tournament. He's now on 350,000 chips while Aalders slipped to 420,000.

Peer Doubles Flush Over Flush

On the flop of {K-Clubs} {10-Hearts} {5-Hearts}, Nir Peer and Jimmy Tran called a 22,000-chip bet from Leo Boxell.

The turn was the {Q-Hearts} and Peer checked. Boxell checked and then Jimmy Tran fired 25,000. Peer called, but Boxell folded.

The river was the {6-Hearts} and Peer led for 25,000. Tran raised all in and Peer called.

Tran tabled {K-Hearts} {9-Hearts} for a flush, king-high, but Peer had the {A-Hearts} {J-Spades} for a higher flush. Tran dropped to 400,000 while Peer rose up to 260,000.

Carlson Bests Flourentzou

Panayotis Flourentzou checked the flop of {J-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds} {7-Hearts} to Wayne Carlson. He bet 26,000 and Flourentzou called. The turn was the {10-Spades} and Flourentzou checked again. Carlson fired 30,000 this time and was called.

The river brought the {5-Diamonds} to the end of the board and Flourentzou checked. Carlson fired another 30,000 and was called again.

Michael Levy Eliminated in 46th Place

MIchael Levy
MIchael Levy
In two consecutive hands Michael Levy has hit the rail.

The first, Levy held {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} against Christopher Willis, holding pocket sevens. The board was kind to Willis coming down {5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{4-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}, crippling Levy and giving Willis about 120,000.

Levy would be up against the {a-Hearts}{q-Spades} of Leo Boxell next when he moved all in from middle position with {q-Hearts}{10-Spades} for his last 31,000. Once again, Levy would find no help, Boxell's ace-high holding up on a {7-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} board. Boxell is now up to 278,000.

Michael Levy collects AUD $9,504.
