Welcome back to the Star City Casino for the penultimate day of the 2010 PokerStars.net APPT Sydney Grand Final!
Only thirty-two players remain, and all are guaranteed the minimum payout of AU$12,145, but everybody left in the field will have one spot in mind; first place and its AU$459,510 payout.
Many will agree that this field is one of the best in-the-money fields that Australia - and nearly anywhere in the Asia Pacific region - has even seen this deep in a Main Event.
Reza Vakili holds the chip lead with 775,000 but has the pressure being placed on him by online players such as Jonathan 'xMONSTERxDONGx' Karamalikis (733,000), Brendon 'Brendooor' Rubie (690,500), Tom Rafferty (441,000), Mitchell 'LooneyGerbil' Carle (407,000) and Jarred 'FlopNutsOnYou' Graham (254,500). Overseas professionals Roland de Wolfe (715,500) and Daniel Negreanu (293,500) are also still in contention, while Aussie Millions Champion Tyron Krost (94,500), 2007 APPT Sydney Champion Grant Levy (81,500) and 2008 APPT Macau Champion Eddy Sabat (60,000) can't be ruled out.
Play is set to begin at 12:30 pm AEST with PokerNews providing continuous live updates as we battle all the way down until just a final table of nine remains!
Poker Room Manager Debra Rillo has just awarded the trophies to the preliminary event winners.

With chip leader Reza Vakili, Aussie Millions Champion Tyron Krost and everyone's favorite Canuck Daniel Negreanu all on the table, we at PokerNews will do our best to grab as much action as we can from that all-star table.
Our PokerNews reporter just overheard an interesting conversation between Jarred Graham and his tablemates.
After finishing up yesterday, Graham ventured into the high-stakes cash game that has been running nearly every night here at the Star City Casino.
Having been stuck nearly AU$45,000, he battled back to only be down AU$10,000, and as a consequence, hasn't had a wink of sleep!
"So I only lost my min-cash!" stated Graham to Grant Levy.
For Graham, he has one of the most incredible records here in Sydney that features back-to-back High Rollers victories for AU$222,000 and AU$156,000 in 2008 and 2009 respectively and victory in the Sydney Poker Championships for AU$121,500.
He also ran deep in this very event last year where he eventually bubbled the final table in tenth place for a AU$30,888 payout.
From under the gun, Con Angelakis raised all in for 46,000. Dongying Ling made the call from the button and everyone else folded. Angelakis tabled the and was flipping against the for Ling.
The flop was a clean for Angelakis, but the on the turn put Ling in front. The river completed the board and ended the tournament for Angelakis with the hitting the felt. Angelakis became the first casualty of the day while Ling moved up to 500,000 in chips.
Tom Rafferty raised from the cutoff seat to 11,000. Peco Stojanovski called from the small blind and the flop came down . Stojanovski fired out 25,000 and Rafferty made the call.
The turn brought the and Stojanovski fired 45,000. Rafferty raised all in for 405,000 and that sent Stojanovski into the tank. He tanked for a couple minutes before eventually folding. He showed that he was laying down pocket jacks and Rafferty was pushed the pot.
