Laidlaw, Not Yates
"I would have got it in against you but not him," Tom Grigg said to Daniel Laidlaw as Matt Yates took down this nice pot without going to a flop.
The action was started by Laidlaw in middle position and he raised it to 13,000. Carl Knox then made the call before Grigg three-bet to 31,500 from the hijack seat. Yates would then four-bet to 85,500. The play was back on Laidlaw and he asked Grigg how much he started the hand with before folding. With Knox out of the way, it would be on Grigg and he would decide to send his cards into the muck as Yates took down the pot.
