With the ACOP Main Event wrapping up just a few tables away, you would think that would create some buzz in the High Roller event, but unfortunately it is still slow goings as the bubble pressure is taking it's toll on the remaining five players.
With several players hovering around the same mark and having stacks in excess of 20 big blinds, it could be a long while before we reach the money and before there is any notable action.
It's been relatively slow since returning to the dinner break. There have been few flops and even fewer turns and rivers. With that said, the chips are still moving about as the blinds are fairly high.
In one recent hand, Aidan Tam raised to 126,000 on the button and Vladimir Troyanovskiy defended from the big blind. Troyanovskiy proceeded to lead out for 150,000 on hte flop, Tam called, and then both players checked the turn as well as the river.
Tam then showed the and it was good as Troyanovskiy mucked his cards.
Senh Ung opened for 125,000 from the hijack only to have Vladimir Troyanovskiy three-bet to 305,000 from the button. The blinds folded, Ung called, and it was heads-up action to the flop. Ung checked to Troyanovskiy, who used two hands to slide out a bet of 200,000.
Ung then woke up with a check-raise to 550,000 and Troyanovskiy, who had about 670,000 behind, hit the tank. The Russian thought for several minutes before he folded the face up.
Just after the clock rolled over into Level 13 (40,000/80,000/10,000), a short-stacked Vladimir Troyanovskiy open-shipped the button for roughly 700,000. Predrag Lekovic then moved all in over the top from the small blind, which inspired the big to fold.
Lekovic tabled the , and Troyanovskiy needed to get lucky with his to stay alive. Unfortunately for the Russian, the flop was gin for Lekovic, who flopped a straight with a flush redraw. Troyanovskiy needed running cards to stay alive, but that didn't happen as both the turn and river blanked.
With the elimination of Troyanovskiy, the remaining five players are in the money and will relocate to the feature table area.
