Cheng Barrels Okawa

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Yat Wai Cheng opened to 13,000 and Yoshitaka Okawa made the call on the button to see a {5-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{10-Spades} flop fall.

Cheng bet out 16,000 and Okawa called as Cheng continued for 42,000 when the turn landed the {K-Clubs}. Okawa again made the call as the {Q-Hearts} on the river was followed by a bet of 110,000 from Cheng.

Okawa contemplated for a few moments before releasing his hand and slipping to 260,000 in chips.

Aidan Tam Eliminated in 14th Place (HK$297,000)

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Aidan Tam - 14th place
Aidan Tam - 14th place

Aidan Tam opened from under the gun to 12,000 and Yifan Zheng three-bet next to act to 27,000. Once the action folded round to Tam, he moved all in for 180,000 and Zheng snapped him off.

Tam: {A-Clubs}{5-Clubs}
Zheng: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}

With Tam needing to spike any combination of an ace, a straight or a flush, the {K-Spades}{6-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop kept only an ace and backdoor straight cards as outs. The turn of the {4-Hearts} gave Tam any ace or three, but when the river landed the {2-Diamonds}, Tam was out the door in 14th place for a HK$297,000 payday as Zheng climbs to 1,320,000 in chips.

Zheng Just Calls with the Second Nuts

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Aidan Tam opened the action with a raise from the under-the-gun position only to have Yifan Zheng toss in a three-bet. Action folded back to Tam, he called, and the flop came down {q-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. After both players checked, the dealer burned and turned the {2-Diamonds}.

Tam led out for 27,000, Zheng called, and the {7-Hearts} completed the board on the river. Tam kept the pressure on with a bet of 81,000, and Zheng snap-called. Tam showed the {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} for top pair, but it was no good as Zheng had turned a flush with the {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}.

Kevin Schulz Eliminated in 15th Place (HK$297,000)

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Kevin Schulz - 15th place
Kevin Schulz - 15th place

Yat Wai Cheng opened to 13,000 from the cutoff and Kevin Schulz moved all in from the big blind for a little over 100,000. Cheng instantly called.

Schulz: {A-Spades}{2-Diamonds}
Cheng: {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}

With Schulz trailing, the {K-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} flop changed little, but it would be the {J-Diamonds} on the turn ending Schulz's tournament as the {3-Diamonds} completed the board on the river.

Andrew Lam - 16th place

While Cheryl Peng was being eliminated on the adjacent table, Andrew Lam bet out 30,000 on a {2-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} board before Peter Chan check-raised all in with Lam making the call for his tournament life.

Lam: {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}
Chan: {10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}

With Lam drawing to only a diamond, the river landed the {4-Spades} to see him chop 16th place with Peng to take home HK$272,250 in prize money.

Cheryl Peng - 16th place
Cheryl Peng - 16th place

The action folded to Yat Wai Cheng in the small blind and he raised to 15,000 before Cheryl Peng three-bet to 40,000 from the big. Cheng then four-bet to 85,000 and Peng instantly moved all in for 103,000 with Cheng calling.

Cheng: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}

The board ran out {5-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and Peng was sent to the rail in 17th until another elimination happened on the adjacent table to see her share 16th place with Andrew Lam and chop the 16th and 17th prize money as they both capture HK$272,250.
