Yung Eliminated Twice in One Day

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

Percy Yung recently bubbled the money of the $50,000 Freezeout event. She then opted to enter the Main Event but wasn't able to get a run going, ultimately being eliminated for the second time in a day.

The action started with Yung raising to 900 from under the gun and getting called by the player in the small blind. Her opponent in the big blind then raised it up to 6,400 and watched as Yung moved all in for around 10,000 in chips. The small blind mucked his hand and the raiser called.

Yung: {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}
Opponent: {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

Yung was in great shape to double until the board ran out {9-Clubs}{k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} to see her opponent make a higher pair.

Smith Takes It Down

Level 6 : 300/600, 75 ante

The player in middle position made the call as did the player in the small blind. Asa Smith was in the big blind and opted to check before the three players watched the flop come down {5-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}.

All three checked their options as the dealer flipped over the {9-Hearts} on the turn. The small blind checked prompting Smith to bet out 1,600. He was called by the player in middle position before the {2-Diamonds} completed the board.

Smith reached for his chips and threw out another 3,800 which was followed by an immediate fold by his opponent.

Yu Eliminates Seal

Level 6 : 300/600, 75 ante

On a flop reading {j-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and with 4,000 in the pot, Emanuel Seal checked his option from the small blind. His opponent was Chang Ling Yu on the button who bet out 1,500. The bet was called and both players watched as the {6-Spades} fell on the turn.

Neither wanted to commit more chips and were happy to see the {5-Spades} fall on the river for free. Seal then moved all in for his remaining 6,650 and was called almost instantly.

Seal tabled his {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} for trip kings but was sent on his way when Yu turned over {j-Spades}{10-Spades} for the flush.
