Small Pot for Im

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

Joining the action on a flop of {K-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{A-Spades}, Vivian Im checked out of the big blind and the initial raiser led for 300 chips. Im made the call to see the {K-Spades} on the turn and a bet of 525 went through without any further betting action. At the same table, Pierre Aoukar has also taken his seat and may provide some interesting stories to tell.

Liang Arrives

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

"How do you do this, you arrive and first hand kings?" Elias Abou Saleh asked table neighbor Eddy Liang over on table 5. Indeed the latter just walked in and claimed 500 chips of profit straight away.

Gab Yong Kim was playing yet another big pot just before that, though the betting action until the {J-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{7-Hearts} river is amiss. There were 17,000 chips in the middle and Kim fired 10,000 to eventually enforce a fold from his opponent.

Straight Chop

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

Vivian Im watched as the table folded around to her on the button before betting 300. Her opponent in the big blind made the call before both players watched the flop come {7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades}.

The big blind threw out a continuation bet totalling 800 and was called before doing the same for 1,200 after the {6-Spades} dropped on the turn. The {4-Clubs} then completed the board and the big blind paused for a moment. He reached for his chips and bet out 2,200. Im took three seconds to contemplate her next move before confidently announcing all in for 20,000 in chips. Her opponent called and tabled his {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}.

Im smiled before exposing her {8-Diamonds}{j-Spades} for the same straight. Im has 23,000 in chips following the hand.

Liang Has to Fold

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

Picking up the action after the river of a {4-Diamonds}{A-Spades}{2-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds} board, Eddy Liang made a bet worth 3,050 into a pot of 6,500 and Liang Song raised all in for 10,325. Song had previously folded in a big pot versus Gab Yong Kim and folded his hands to a prayer while almost closing the eyes.

Liang ultimately made up his mind, said "you win" and sent his cards into the muck.

Leow is Getting Low

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

After a squeeze to 1,125, Seng Yee Leow faced a reraise to 3,800 by the player from one seat over and the Malaysian decided to peel and see a flop of {3-Hearts}{5-Spades}{10-Clubs}. Leow checked and his opponent fired 6,000 with about just that behind. The Malaysian eventually mucked and was shown the {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}.
