In the final hand of the level, Yuanning Wu raised to 1,100,000 and Christopher Mateo called. The K♥10♣8♣ flop saw Mateo check-call for 900,000 and they checked the Q♦ on the turn.

Fast forward to the 9♣ river, Mateo checked and Wu bet 3,200,000. Without missing much of a beat, Mateo moved all-in and Wu asked for a count. The shove was for 14,750,000 and Wu vaulted out of his chair.

Some twenty seconds later, Wu announced the call and Mateo turned over his A♣10♦ for a pair of tens and the nut straight as well as nut flush blocker. Wu revealed his J♠7♥ for the king-high straight and claimed victory.

Based on the heads-up deal, Mateo walks away with a payday of PHP10,000,000 while Wu receives PHP11,414,730 for the efforts.

Gyuhyuk Lee Eliminated in 3rd Place (PHP5,501,000)

Christopher Mateo won a pot against Yuanning Wu to pull further ahead of Gyuhyuk Lee and then raised to 800,000 on the button. Lee pushed for 5,750,000 in the small blind and Mateo called, though, his declaration of intent had to be repeated three times before both players revealed their cards.

The dominated pair of Lee found no help on the J♦10♥6♠2♦A♦ board and that spelled the end in third place for the long-time chip leader. Mateo and Wu will now enter a short break and potential deal negotiations as the stack sizes are nearly dead even.

John Tech Eliminated in 4th Place (PHP4,074,000)

Gyuhyuk Lee opened to 400,000 on the button and John Tech three-bet jammed for 3,045,000 in the small blind. The initial raiser tank-called and the cards were flipped over.

Tech was ahead but ultimately got denied a double on the 7♦7♥3♣Q♣K♣ runout as the kicker didn't play.

Fast forward to the last hand of the level, Tech raised to 400,000 on the button. Yuanning Wu three-bet to 1,200,000 in the small blind and Tech used a time bank before jamming. He received the snap-call of Wu and the rail gathered once more.

Nino Pansier raised to 900,000 with two times as many chips behind. Riku Sasahara quickly jammed for 1,650,000 in the small blind, which sent Gyuhyuk Lee in the big blind into the tank. One time bank later, Lee moved all-in and that now sent Pansier into agony.

He mulled it over for a good while and used two time banks before sigh-calling.

Nino Pansier open-jammed out of the small blind into the big blind of Archie Mariano and the latter folded.

One hand later, Gyuhyuk Lee made it 250,000 to go from an early position. Mariano jammed for 1,975,000 out of the small blind and Lee instantly called.

The local rail gathered closer to the table while Mariano remained seated on the 9♥8♥5♣ flop. He then vaulted out of the chair when picking up the nut flush draw on the 3♥ turn. However, there was no pinoy celebration on the 8♦ river as Mariano departed in seventh place for PHP1,833,000.

Nino Pansier open-jammed his bigger stack from the button into two shorter stacks. One of those belonged to Lloyd Locsin, who called all-in for around half a million in chips.

"I have an ace," Pansier announced and Locsin replied "me too, with a nine" before they flipped over the cards.
