The dealer announced a seat open as the frantic action continued right after the redraw with two all-in and call taking place at the same time. It was Koichi Nozaki who became the 23rd place finisher and his chips were sent to John Tech who had the K♣10♥ exposed.

According to players at the table, Nozaki had defended the big blind against an open raise and call by John Tech. Only Tech came along when Nozaki bet the 10♠9♣8♥ flop and the 4♦ turn, then jammed the 10♣ river.

John Magadan doubled Huy Nguyen with K♥10♦ versus A♦10♣ when two aces appeared on the flop.

Magadan was left short and then got it in with the A♥Q♦, Steve Yea in the big blind called with K♣7♣ to flop two pair on K♥7♦5♣.

Nguyen's tournament ended soon after when he ran into the Q♠Q♣ of Alex Chong and just like that, the field was down to the last 24 contenders. The redraw of the final three tables is now imminent.
