Gyuhyuk Lee opened to 400,000 on the button and John Tech three-bet jammed for 3,045,000 in the small blind. The initial raiser tank-called and the cards were flipped over.

Tech was ahead but ultimately got denied a double on the 7♦7♥3♣Q♣K♣ runout as the kicker didn't play.

Fast forward to the last hand of the level, Tech raised to 400,000 on the button. Yuanning Wu three-bet to 1,200,000 in the small blind and Tech used a time bank before jamming. He received the snap-call of Wu and the rail gathered once more.

Wu Wins Pot; Loses Value

Gyuhyuk Lee min-raised to 400,000 and Yuanning Wu announced a reraise to 800,000 out of the small blind which Lee called. Wu continued for 700,000 on the 8♠5♦3♠ flop and Lee called before both checked the 5♣ turn and 7♦ river.

Wu tabled his Q♦Q♣ and then sighed, explaining he had meant to make it 1.8 million preflop.

Wu got within four blinds of the lead with that hand before losing a small showdown pot to Lee right after.

Tech Drops to the Bottom

Gyuhyuk Lee then opened to 400,000 on the button and Tech flat-called in the small blind.

Both checked the J♣6♠3♠ flop and the K♣ followed on the turn. Tech check-called for 750,000 before both checked the 2♦ on the river.

The Q♠9♠ of Tech had missed a straight and flush draw, as Lee won the pot with the K♦5♠.

Wu Slowly Closes the Gap to Lee

The action kicked off with a raise to 400,000 by Gyuhyuk Lee and Yuanning Wu three-bet to 1,300,000 in the small blind, earning a reluctant call by Lee.

On a flop of J♠5♥3♣, Wu continued for 800,000 and Lee stuck around.

Wu fired a second barrel for 1,700,000 on the J♦ turn and Lee used a time bank to make the call.

Wu then bet 2,600,000 on the K♣ river and Lee used another time bank. He double-checked the cards once more and opted to fold.

Nino Pansier raised to 900,000 with two times as many chips behind. Riku Sasahara quickly jammed for 1,650,000 in the small blind, which sent Gyuhyuk Lee in the big blind into the tank. One time bank later, Lee moved all-in and that now sent Pansier into agony.

He mulled it over for a good while and used two time banks before sigh-calling.

Nothing changed with the Q♥7♦3♠ flop and the 4♦ turn left Sasahara drawing dead while Pansier remained with two outs. None of them came as the A♦ river ensured a double knockout. Sasahara took sixth place while Pansier earned the pay jump to fifth place.
